The Snap-on Smile is made out of a crystallized acetyl resin manufactured by Den-Mat dental laboratories in California. The process is fairly straightforward. Dr. Guffey and his associates start by taking an impression of your teeth, from which a hardened plaster model is made. Our team then sends the model to the laboratory with instructions that describe the smile design you desire.

When Mountain View Family Dentistry gets the Snap-on Smile back from the lab, you simply snap it onto your teeth. It is sturdy enough that you can eat with it, and Den-Mat states that it will last up to four years.
