Why do patients drive from the other side of the valley to see Dr. Guffey and his staff? One patient, Maggie, says that after moving away, she still comes back to Mountain View Family Dentistry, even though it's a 60-mile drive round trip. It's a matter of trust. Dr. Shayne GuffeyDr. Guffey is a graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. He belongs to a number of professional dental associations, including the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Maricopa County Dental Society, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization of dentists who are dedicated to staying at the leading edge of new techniques and continuing education.

Dr. Rebecca Temp
Dr. Temp is another full time dental associate with us here at Mountain View Family Dentistry, and is a big reason why we are able to treat everyone in your family with such skill and attention. She received her dental training at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health at AT Still University here in Mesa, and she is a member of the ADA and the American Academy of Women Dentists.
She is a general dentist who, like Dr. Guffey, also strongly believes in continuing her dental education.
She is currently expanding her training so as to focus on Invisalign and dental implants procedures.

Dr. Heath SnellDr. Snell is Mountain View Family Dentistry's Arizona licensed general dentist who provides IV sedation. Several times a month he brings to our office his sedation skills and his training from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and the Audie L. Murphy Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his certification for IV sedation.
Dr. Snell has the needed training to perform more complex surgical dental procedures, such as the placement of dental implants and the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth.
His abilities help provide our patients with the comfort that can come from sedation dentistry. |
